Luffy and Sanji’s desperate decision! Large rescue maneuvers!

Episode Guide >> Episode 200

With the successful capture of another member of the Strawhats, the Marines are in high spirits as they fervently search for the remaining crew. Learning of Usopp’s arrest, the carpenters speculate why he came all the way to Going Merry’s dock as Mekao checks on the ship’s damage. Finding something interesting, he leaves work early and heads into the base.

Meanwhile, Sanji and Luffy are sneaking around in search of the prisons, with the cook becoming more and more frustrated with his captain. As Luffy becomes more excited about their situation, the two decide that their best chance to find their captured nakama is to head into the middle of the island.

Back in the docking hall, one of the soldiers stumbles upon the prone body of the real Inspector Sheppard. Mistaking him for a member of the Strawhats, he informs the others of a suspicious character and they take him into custody! His impersonator, Robin, is still in the library, reading Harbor Entrance Reports, but she’s being watched as well!

The Marines throw Sheppard into the same cell as Zoro and Usopp, completely disregarding his claim of being an officer because they’ve heard it three times now! Recognizing that this man is the real deal and that he poses a threat to Robin, Usopp dubs this man Kondoriano and “welcomes” him as a comrade, effectively discrediting his claims. When Sheppard tries to continue his protest, Zoro quickly knocks him out.

As Luffy and Sanji continue their search for the prisons, Jonathan is one step ahead of them and plans an ambush for them, with Drake at the helm. Taking the path under the bridge, Luffy and Sanji race toward what they think is the prisons, while Jonathan receives the report of Kondoriano aka Sheppard. In the bowels of the prison, Drake and his soldiers are in position to perform an ambush. But it’s the wrong person! Who comes strolling down the stairs? None other than Mekao, and he wants a word with Usopp!

Mekao wants to know if Usopp was responsible for repairing Going Merry, and when he answers in the affirmative, he starts telling him how he’s done the job incorrectly. As their conversation continues, it becomes clear how desperately the Strawhats are in need of a good carpenter for their crew. Despite this, the two men connect over their love of ships and just as Mekao is explaining who the mystery carpenter was, he is forcibly removed by Drake’s men. As he’s being dragged away, he shouts out a warning that bodes darkly for future events.

Outside the prison are Sanji and Luffy, who both have different ideas concerning their present situation. Sanji recognizes that this is a trap, while Luffy simply wants to charge in and rescue Zoro and Usopp. Still worried about Nami and Robin, Sanji concedes to Luffy’s whims and storms in after him. The lack of guards confirms their suspicions, but the two are determined to save their friends, shouting for them to answer their calls. Hearing Usopp’s reply, they reach the cell, only to discover that it is Sea Stone and that they are surrounded. With Luffy drained of energy, Sanji has no choice but to break the cell – except it’s too strong. Thinking quickly, Usopp tells him to take the Impact Dial out of his pocket and hesitantly, Sanji does so.

Except it’s a Voice Dial.

Embarrassed (and pissed), Sanji reaches into Usopp’s other pocket to retrieve the real Impact Dial.

Except it’s a Flavor Dial. With a fart in it. Courtesy of Luffy.

That’s not the worst of Sanji’s problems. The gas sparks a massive explosion in the prisons and the alarms sound all across G8. All the soldiers are rushing to help in this crisis situation! The good news? The Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan has escaped and 4 members are united! With Zoro unwisely leading the way, the crew rush to find the rest of their friends.

Current location for Crew Members:
